Pour l'occasion, le constructeur
a demandé à Boxer
Design (ceux qui ont fait la VB1)
de rhabiller la R1.
Façon élégante
d'écouler les stocks de la
sportive 2003
- Eh oui, la 2004
est arrivé ! En concession,
la moto est vendue avec les guidons
bracelets pour des raisons d'homologation.
Il existe heureusement l'option
indispensable du guidon plat. Pour
442 € de plus, vous aurez une
bête des rues. Le travail
esthétique des ateliers de
Thierry Henriette ne sombre pas
dans la surenchère mais révèle
l'agressivité naturelle de
la R1.
Sabot moteur minimaliste, écopes
de radiateur du plus bel effet et
tête de fourche spécifique.
Celui-ci n'est qu'un masque de visage,
sublimant le regard de tigresse
de la pistarde.
Avec son guidon, la moto change
radicalement. Fini l'inconfort de
la position cassée en 2.
Bien sûr, la belle demeure
raide et rigide à souhait
mais on est beaucoup moins basculé
sur l'avant.
Plus on joue, plus on envie de jouer. Une nouvelle identité
pour la R1,
au penchant naturellement féroce.
